Focusing on What Matters

Both in business and life

The challenge

Multiple growing businesses, a young family and plenty of opportunity, but not enough clarity around time, profitability and where their attention was best spent.

What changed

Clearer financials, stronger systems, better utilisation and greater discipline around where they invested their time.

The outcome

Stronger financial performance, a more structured operation and two owners continuing to evolve into the leaders their bigger goals require.

Big opportunity, lots on their plates.

Jai and Sandi had several growing businesses in and around the mining industry, two young children and a huge amount of opportunity, but not enough clarity around time, profitability and where their attention was best spent.

Roles aligned to their strengths.

Jai and Sandi made a deliberate decision to restructure their roles. Sandi stepped further into running the workshop and team, while Jai created more space to focus on the areas across their businesses where he could add the most value.

Clearer numbers. Better decisions.

We restructured the financial reporting across their businesses, departments and assets so they could see what was making money, what wasn’t and where improvement was needed.

Stronger systems and utilisation.

Pricing was reviewed, labour utilisation became a focus, customer communication improved and clearer systems and responsibilities were introduced across the office and workshop. The goal wasn’t to make everyone busier, it was to make the whole business more efficient and intentional.

Building for what’s next.

The result is stronger and more consistent financial performance, a more structured operation and two owners who are far more aware of where they add the most value and how to protect time for what matters most.

The outcome

A stronger business.
More time for what matters most.
